30 Day Art Challenge
In July of 2020 I took part in @katschneids ’ 30 day drawing challenge. I followed her fantastic prompt list to make 30 4×4” watercolor paintings and posted them on Instagram. It was the first time I completed a 30 day challenge, and it gave me the confidence to try even bigger daily challenges, like the 100 Day Project.

Bookbinding
One of my current hobbies is bookbinding. All books have the same components: covers, spine, signatures, endpapers. It feels amazing to learn an art form that has stayed largely the same across millennia. Not only that, but there are so many techniques and binding styles I haven’t tried yet, and I can’t wait to see where they take me.

Novel in Progress
I don’t usually talk too much about my works in progress, but we’re all friends here, so I can tell you that I’m writing a historical fiction novel set during the Italian renaissance. In my story a female artist rises to the level of her famous male counterparts during a time when female power was synonymous with ruin.
